Mixed Fruit Kefir Popsicles
A Smoother, Sweeter Way to Get Kids to Eat Fermented Foods
The majority of fermented probiotic foods like kimchi have a strong, sour, and distinct taste. The intense taste can make it difficult to include these sources of good gut bacteria into your child’s diet, especially if they are still learning to like new and unfamiliar foods.
So, how should we go about nourishing their gut with probiotics? Well, if yogurt, cheese, and pickles are not your child’s cup of tea, we can bet that popsicles most certainly will be. That’s right, probiotic popsicles! Probiotic foods can be made fun, kid-friendly, colourful, AND nutrient dense. Follow our simple, mixed fruit kefir popsicle recipe to beat the heat with some nutrient-packed and flavourful tummy treats for the little ones.
